Lilli on tavallinen tyttö, joka käy koulua ja asuu äitinsä ja pikkuveljensä kanssa. Vaikkei perhe sitä tiedäkään, hän on kuitenkin myös Supernoita. Eräänä päivänä hän saa kirjeen Gulimanilta, Mandolanin valtakunnan suurvisiiriltä: valtaistuin on noiduttu, ja Lillin apua tarvitaan. Lilli lähtee matkaan mukanaan syöppö lohikäärme Hector. Perillä Mandolanissa selviää, että valtakunnan ongelma ei olekaan istuimessa vaan jossain aivan muussa...

 

Noitatyttö Lillin paluu on toinen Knisterin lastenkirjasarjaan perustuva pitkä elokuva. Kirjojen pohjalta on tehty myös tv-sarja. Harald Sicheritz (s. 1959) on opiskellut ja opettanut viestintää Wienissä. Ensimmäinen Noitatyttö Lilli -elokuva esitettiin Oulun kansainvälisellä lasten- ja nuortenelokuvien festivaalilla vuonna 2009.

  

Lilly is an ordinary girl who goes to school and lives with her mother and little brother. But in secret she is also a Super Witch. One day she receives a letter from Guliman, the grand vizier of Mandolan. The throne of Mandolan is bewitched and the kingdom is in need of Lilly’s help. Lilly sets on the journey with the gluttonous dragon Hector. Once they arrive in Mandolan, it becomes clear that the true problem lies not with the throne but with those who seek to mount it.

 

Lilly the Witch: The Journey to Mandolan is the second feature film based on the books by Knister. The books have also been adapted into a television series. Harald Sicheritz (b. 1959) has studied and taught communication in Vienna. The first Lilly the Witch film was screened at the Oulu International Children's and Youth Film Festival in 2009.
