The Ukrainian children’s science-fiction movie tells the story of a 12-year-old Vlad, who suddenly finds himself in the crossfire of two alien forces fighting for the future of mankind. Consequently Vlad realizes that it is easy to tell stories about courage and fearlessness, but when push comes to shove, overcoming one's fears is not that simple.

Vlad’s stay at a scout summer camp takes an unexpected turn when his team suffers a defeat at their yearly beach volleyball match in unclear circumstances. Vlad, who took photographs of the match, gets ostracized by his group and decides to rectify the situation by pinching the tournament trophy. In the blink of an eye, Vlad finds himself being kidnapped by a strange professor and a mysterious Bobot. When suddenly the fate of the whole humankind hangs in balance, Vlad must find his courage and fearlessness in real life, too.
