Young Slater wants to make an impact on climate change. Rising sea levels, landslides, forest fires, floods, drought and rising temperatures. These catastrophes caused by climate change are encountered around the world in Slater's documentary.

Slater has grown to be a documentarist but she is also an environmentalist. She interviews environmental experts and political influencers, as well as her friends, in the hope of change. Her conviction to stop environmental catastrophes is unshaken. Together with her friends from Nepal and Bangladesh she promotes worldwide influencing.

The state of the world unites these young people. While describing the state of the world, the documentary tells about the growth of environmental consciousness, about growing as a responsible human being on earth and about the birth and growth of a global environmental movement led by young people.
