14-year-old Magnea is more interested in friends, drugs and parties than school. Her parents are distracted with their new lives with new partners and believe her excuses for skipping school, and before they know it, their daughter is out of reach.

In this Icelandic true story, the end result of drug abuse isn’t sugar-coated, and we will see just how the drugs eat the youthful beauty of our hero. Things get out of hand and turn life into a hellish slide to the rock bottom.

In the same boat without oars sits Magnea's best friend Stella, but when two blind people are trying to lead each other to shore, even a tailwind won’t help.

An excellent soundtrack drives the movie forward, and suddenly Icelandic punk is added to your angst-playlist. Powerful performances leave a strange emptiness in the chest that will stay quite a while.
